About Ady

Ady Naber is a Jordanian Operatic Tenor.
Born in 1985, Ady started his music career at the age of 30, in 2015, by playing the role of Mr. Bumble in a production of Lionel Bart’s musical Oliver, in Arabic, produced in Jordan under Royal patronage. He went on to perform in many occasions in Jordan and in Europe.
Ady studied singing through private coaching with Mr. Karam Chakkour and Mrs. Svetlana Kuzmina in Jordan, and through courses at the National Music Conservatory, in addition to the Jordan Academy of Music.

In 2019, Ady took a step forward by enrolling in Berlin Opera Academy, a premium Opera summer program, where he studied and played the role of Monostatos in Mozart’s Opera 'The Magic Flute' which he performed at Delphi Theater in Berlin, under musical direction by Tom Seligman, and stage direction by Teresa Reiber.
Shortly afterwards Ady enrolled in Vienna Opera Academy, where he studied and performed a more challenging role, the role of the Duke in Verdi’s Opera 'Rigoletto'. It was staged in Lorely Sal, in Vienna, conducted by Toby Purser. Ady participated again in Berlin Opera Academy in the summer of 2021, where he played the role of Monostatos in a production by the academy in Switzerland, under musical direction by Kevin Class, and stage direction by Rebecca Jo Loeb.
One of Ady’s recent and notable performances was performing an Arabic music part in the concerts of Maestro Riccardo Muti ‘Le Vie dell’Amicizia’ which were held in Ravenna, Jerash and Pompei in July 2023. Jordan was included in these concerts to honor Jordan’s humanitarian role in hosting refugees from several countries.
Also in July 2023, Ady performed in the opening act of Jerash Festival playing the role of Emperor Hadrian, in a premier of a Jordanian musical called ‘River of Gold’, produced by Jordan’s National Center for Arts and Culture, directed by Lina Attel, text by Mufleh Adwan, and music by Talal Abul Ragheb. This was the second time Ady performs in the opening act of Jerash Festival after having performed a duet with Jordanian singer Natalie Samaan in a concert led by Jordanian star composer Tareq Al-Nasser with his band Rum. Both performances in Jerash were under the patronage of HM King Abdullah II and were attended by Jordan’s Prime Minister, Minister of Culture, and others.
Ady performed in several other concerts, and in Arabic music concerts with prominent Jordanian musicians and composers. He also participated in a series of balcony performances to the public called Amman Balconies by Tajalla for Music and Arts, the arts association which he’s a member of. It presented sudden musical performances to the public from unique balconies in Amman and other Jordanian cities.

Ady speaks Arabic, English, Italian and French. He also sings in German, Spanish, Latin, and Portuguese.
